Some things to note: • All of our battery packs use Lithium-Ion or Lithium Polymer cells. • Exceeding the maximum discharge rate specified by the manufacturer for any of these packs may result in deterioration of capacity or cell damage. Please understand that using Lithium batteries for RC applications is still somewhat experimental, and you are using these at your own risk. • Do not allow cell voltage to drop below 3V per cell (or 6v for a 7.4V pack). There are speed controls available that will cut motor power when voltage reaches this range. Draining the batteries below this voltage range will damage the cells. If you are familiar enough with your airplane and such a speed control is not available to you, then you can simply shut off the motor and land the plane as soon as you notice that it is starting to lose power. Use this method at your own discretion. Tests have proven you will get longer battery life by not fully discharging the cells. These batteries have no memory effect so they do not need to be fully discharged, in fact it is better if you don't. • If you have any other questions regarding any of the products listed here please feel free to contact us. |
